Ann-Sofie Bárány writes plays for children, teens and adults since her debut with Babydrama at Unga Klara in 2006, which was also her first collaboration with Suzanne Osten. Since then, they have worked together in numerous productions.
In addition to Unga Klara, Ann-Sofie’s plays have been performed at Royal Dramatic Theatre, Stockholm, Stockholm City Theatre, Gothenburg City Theatre, Månteatern, and Moomsteatern. In the near future a chamber opera ¨LED¨ with libretto by Bárány will be performed at Piteå Chamber Opera.
Ann-Sofie is also a dramaturge and produces adaptations. She has a background as a psychoanalyst for all ages and is also a pedagogue, lecturer and researcher.
